Brief Bio
Cédric Grueau is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Systems and Information Technology, EST/IPS since 2006, where he teaches courses and develops research in Computer Science and Geographic Information Technology. He has 20 years of experience in Geographic Information Science, including experience in the industry and research. He currently conducts his research in the Software Systems Group of NOVA LINCS - Universidade Nova de Lisboa and is interested in Ontologies, Domain Specific Modeling Languages and Agent-Based Modeling. He is a member of the IAOA.

Jorge Rocha speaks and teaches about open source development, crowd sourcing and community engagement in the geospatial realm. He is an active member of the OSM and OSGeo communities. He is Professor of Geographic Information System and Science at University of Minho, member of the AGILE Association since 99, OGC member from 2005 to 2010 and president of the OSGeo Portugal Local Chapter, from 2010 to 2014.
